The challenge:
Gradient Metrics is a cross-functional team of industry analysts, market researchers, data scientists, technologists, and storytellers who help organizations uncover missed opportunities, find new layers of clarity, and pioneer new directions with confidence and statistical integrity. But as an early stage startup, they needed to be branded from the ground up.
The outcome:
Most young companies have two cost effective options when looking to brand themselves: illustrations or stock photography. The problem is that neither option looks unique and you join the sea of sameness with all the other startups out there. So we decided to create a highly stylized hybrid of the two in order to create a polished visual identity as well as brand voice that brought simplicity and clarity to complex topics.
